It provides a snapshot of what we’ve accomplished, what we’re learning, and where we’re headed next as we work to strengthen the relationship between national security and democratic accountability.
Things might look a little different around here. The Quarterly Dispatch is migrating to a new platform because we outgrew our previous capacity! With our second installment of the Quarterly Dispatch, the Security and Democracy Forum has big news: WE’RE OFFICIAL! We received our 501(c)3 determination from the IRS. That means donations are now tax-deductible and opens up a whole new lane of collaboration and partnerships for the organization. It’s been a remarkable first month for the Security and Democracy Forum. In a short time, we’ve launched our site, published original research and opinions, and started building a network of practitioners, policymakers, and civic leaders committed to the idea that national security must serve democracy and not undermine it. As we continue to grow, your feedback, engagement, and participation will help shape what comes next.
